The best place to start an IT start-up ?
    Hi,
I got a genuine business idea (worth at least 1B$ of course) and now I want to make it reality through a start-up. Please recommend me a country and place where I should go to have the biggest probability of success ? I am looking for a place with good start-up "infrastructure" (enough VCs, business angels, IT staff to hire, etc.) Can be USA, UK, Germany, any other ? Rellocation is not a problem.

    Thanks for help !

Re^2: The best place to start an IT start-up ?
    Hi,
thanks for the comment. The Czech republic is very well suited for this doing the technical part of the business. But for the sales, USA is the market to go (with this business idea). So the decision is:
    a) Do the technical part locally and find business (sales) partners in USA later on
    b) Relocate to USA, do the sales part there (will be hard because I don't have the contacts there, so this must be built first), do the technical prototype there and outsource the development to the Czech republic later on
    c) Try to do the business somewhere in the middle, eg. in UK (better connection to USA and good connection to the Czech republic also)
    d) Start the business locally and relocat later. Unfortunately the idea is very easy to copy and I am sure someone over there will do it. Not only the idea counts, the realization must be done also properly.

So, I am right now evaluating such possibilities. Don't be surprised if you'll find an article looking for a business partner in USA started by me later on :)

From details you have provided in your post, I believe your home basement is the best place to start. At least for the first few months until you understand if your idea is really good to continue with, or maybe it would be better to try something else.
