    currently looking for a 3G UMTS L1 3G/LTE System Simulation Software Engineer

    Job Description:
    - Support continued Layer 1 SW code development and maintenance of a
    system testing suite for validating protocol stack software

    - Development of L1 hardware block and air interface simulations in C.
    - Responsible for ensuring that reports of defects are investigated and
    fixed.
    - System analysis and debugging of testcases
    - Technical responsibility for specific feature development derived from
    3GPP protocol standards.
    - Responsible for maintaining the quality and architectural coherence of
    SW components as it evolves, over its complete lifetime.
    - Interaction with developers on technical solutions
    - Writing and maintaining SW documentation

    Requirements / Qualifications :
    - 3+ years of working in a communications environment.
    - 3G/LTE L1 experience, but must have knowledge of interface between the
    low level (Layer 1) of a protocol stack and the underlying hardware blocks (
    FW, DSP, RF, etc ).
    - Candidate must have good knowledge of the software development life
    cycle including requirements gathering, analysis, detailed design, coding and
    verification.
    - Good understanding of 3G/LTE UMTS air interface specifications and
    Access Stratum layers
    - Experience in GCF/IOT/Field testing analysis and bug-fixing
    - Experienced in C coding for embedded systems and Microsoft windows
    environment

    - Working knowledge with Visual Studio and Clearcase would be beneficial
    but not essential.
    - Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
    - Strong problem-solving skills.

    Tools :
    - Programming skills in C
    - Rational Clearcase
    - Microsoft Visual Studio.
