University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations is looking for a Marketing Assistant to be based in and work with the team in the Berlin office, which is responsible for Austria, Germany, Scandinavia and Switzerland. Reporting to the Marketing Officer the successful candidate will provide assistance for marketing and promotional activities in the region, including the Cambridge ESOL events programme, marketing communications (e.g. production of localised flyers, newsletters, local websites), desk-based market research and promotional mailings.
You will have been educated to Abitur level, will have completed at least 2 years of further education and have a vocational or Higher education degree. Ideally you will have some work experience in marketing. A good command of English and German (ideally C1 on the Common European Framework) is essential as are excellent IT user skills, including knowledge and ability in such Microsoft Office applications as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
You will be an effective team player and have the ability to work under pressure and to deliver on schedule. An understanding of the education market, different education systems and Cambridge ESOL’s products would be an advantage.
The contract will be for one year initially with a salary between €26,301 to €33,863.
