European Buyers of Software Development Outsourcing (Nearshoring to the East)

This group is an exchange platform primarily for the representatives of European organizations (from small start-ups to large corporations) outsourcing their software development, testing, and maintenance tasks to specialized providers in Eastern Europe and the CIS. Because of the the geographical proximity, this model is often called "near-shoring".

The main goal of the group is to represent the interests of the buyers' side, by sharing practical experiences, exchanging tips and advises, bringing transparency into the practices of this industry, learning from each others, collecting best practices, avoiding typical pitfalls, and so forth.

Outsourcing providers from Eastern Europe are also welcome, as long as they share factual information, project references, client case studies, best practices, market data, etc. Providers only "hunting" aggressively for new prospects and contributing with nothing more than their own marketing will simply disqualify themselves.
