The Swedish Invitational - Manuel del Los Santos leads after Round One
The European Tour has reached Stockholm, Arlandastad. Impressive scores and large crowds were witnessed in Sweden’s capital. In south Sweden, just outside Malmö, The Swedish Invitational has attracted players from Australia, Japan, South Africa as well as Sweden, Holland, France, Germany and the UK.

Highlight of Day One was a Par 72 gross round played by the young French talent Manuel del los Santos, http://www.fifh.com/igallery41sub/viewphoto.asp?i=DSC_0052.j...

Manuel had a professional baseball career in his sights when he was involved in a motorbike accident. During his convalesence Manuel discovered golf. Hard training and immense willpower over the past four years have seen him progress to to Hcp 3,0 – and yesterday he played a perfect round of 72 strokes!

This amazing tournament is being held at the picturesque Bokskogens GC, Malmö for the second time. Patroned by Crown Princess Victoria, the event is organised by FIFH http://www.fifh.com/hem in Malmö, the local sports group for the disabled. On Thursday I had the pleasure and great privilege to play in The Sponsors Day. I witnessed some great golf – and some fantastic people – and my vision of GOLF has been radically changed. BELIEVE ME!

    Best Regards
