    Urgently wishing to rent an apartment in the Stockholm area
    Hello Lovely Expats,
    I am a newly recruited expat who moved to Sweden from the UK exactly 2 weeks ago.

    Since arriving I have been frantically searching for an apartment to rent with my Swedish girlfriend on a long term basis in the Stockholm area, however it appears that the rumours are indeed true and this is somewhat of an impossible task.

    The key I’m told is word of mouth therefore with my failures behind me I call upon the distinguished members of the ‘Expatriates in Sweden’ group in hope that one of you may be able to assist me in securing a roof above my head.

    I welcome your advice, any referrals that you might have and also all kind words of encouragement that may assist me in my time of need.
