    http://j.mp/GIZ8394: The overall development objectives of the Punjab Education Sector Project will be a part are to improve access and equity, and the quality and relevance of education in the region. The Support will focus on better education for the most marginalized and vulnerable children, making education more relevant for the labour market and for peace-building, building demand for better services from communities, improving the management and accountability of service delivery and making public finance management more efficient and reliable.

    Responsibilities
    You are to provide institutional support and technical assistance in the following areas:

    • Teacher Education, Textbook Design and Procurement of Education Materials
    • Education Program Monitoring and Evaluation
    • Education Policy, Management and Administration including expertise in community and school based planning and management systems in developing Countries
    • Organization development and capacity development in the field of education in developing countries

    Qualifications
    • Academic background in the field of Education, Education Management, Social Science or Economics is required.
    • Proven professional experience of five or more years in offering technical assistance in minimum two of the technical fields described on responsibilities
    • Experience in the Region would be an advantage
