Hello all -
I'm an end user of Fedora since I bought -- yes I bought it -- my first Fedora copy that was included in a book. I'd worked with Red Hat at work and was looking to change over my home network to an Open Source Linux environment. Since I was aware of the RPM environment, thought I'd take a chance with Fedora (note: it wasn't "Fedora 1", not sure if they weren't expecting other versions from being released or if "Fedora 1" just sounded too immature).
For the past 16 years I've been in the IT industry with Compaq and HP (server divisions) and am now running a worldwide operations for a non-profit.
I'm now running F11 at home on my server, laptop and 2 desktops for the family. Couldn't be happier with my experience.
Since it was the online community that's helped me so much in working through the bugs and growing pains, I need to pay back what I've received and a little more; to make the Internet a better place.
Thanks,
Brett H.
