Fairness For Fathers

Fairness For Fathers

Fairness for fathers regarding child custody in the case of separated parents.

Our campaign is primarily aimed at helping to bring mainstream social attitudes into the 21st century about the general human rights of children regarding equal access to both natural parents.

Our campaign results shall actually help children by encouraging society to understand modern research that shows children of separated parents actually need fathers as much as mothers.

Specifically our campaign concerns correct access for children to their natural fathers, in line with a child’s right of equal access to both parents – rather than once every second weekend for fathers which is still the default practice in many countries around the world.

FFF Group Goals:

1. Information dissemination: to source most credible 'best practice' research reports about why such fairness is in the best interests of the child, and share that information a widely as possible.

2. Information archive: to clarify and compare the relevant laws around the world, e.g. EU legislation states equality. To highlight any past cases where it can be shown that equality was not fairly delivered according to the law. To archive press articles, conference speeches and the like to provide open access to such information for all.

3. Outreach and engagement: to provide a forum for fathers, mothers, mediators, legal and child welfare professionals to discuss ways to better implement equality and fairness. To find ways to create an online petition for the general public to register support for the group aims.
