Mumbai held at ransom
I was shocked last night to hear via my twitter feeds about the massacre taking place in my favorite city Mumbai.

A pulsating vibrant commercial hub under siege?
Smoke billowing out of the Taj Hotel, an historic landmark.

It differs from most previous attacks in two important ways: in the sophistication of the operation’s planning and the terrorist manpower that must have been involved; and in selecting foreigners as targets: hostage-takers seem to have sought out American, British and Israeli victims, as well as indians.

How could such an attack be missed by every level of intelligence service? I find this unsettling as it can happen any where, again and again.

What do WE need to do about yet another wake-up call? what are the reasons behind this madness?

I pray for the innocent people who died during these barbaric attacks.
