A new way to promote development in India!
Hello everyone,

I am new to the group so I though it would be nice and polite to introduce myself.

My name is Claudio. I am really interested in topic such as international development, and in finding a way to reduce the international disparities we face in our world.

This lead me to work in the field of international mentoring, and to join the project of biz4d.

Biz4d is a new platform where young people from all over the world can find a mentor internationally.

It also encourages people who are willing to share their experience and knowledge to join as mentors and help set young professionals to their way to success.

One of our main focus is India.

Why India?

India is experiencing an enormous increase in entrepreneurial activities. Perhaps those young entrepreneurs have the skills and the enthusiasm, but they wish a little guidance to get their career to take off faster. By offering their unique set of experience and knowledge, mentors can give a strong contribution to the improvement of their mentees' skill base, which will in turn benefit their local community as well, like in the case of Aicha (reported below).

Who did inspire us?

The person who inspire the creation of biz4d was a girl in a small Berber village in Morocco. Her name was Aicha. She had only two classes of schooling, however, she managed to convince her parents to go to the city and learn how to sew. When Aicha returned to her village she taught her new skills to the other young women in the village. Together they started to sell their clothes. Aicha became an entrepreneur – nobody had ever taught her how to become one!

Our Mission!

Our main goal is the one of improving global collaboration to meet social challenges.

Through collaboration of responsible citizens, who are going to volunteer as mentors, we believe we can help reducing the international disparities we are constantly facing in our day to day life, expanding opportunities to young professionals and/or entrepreneurs from anywhere in the world, including India.

We are trying to initiate a new way of getting socially engaged and reduce international disparities: cooperating instead of donating!

There are people all around the world, who are absolutely motivated to create positive change within their own environments. Bringing amazing projects forward is also a lot about access to information, feedback, encouragement and knowing people. These are all things that are difficult to teach in school, but can be provided by a person from outside the system, who is carefully listening to the particular challenges and opportunities. Therefore, we strongly believe that amazing developments can be triggered by a mentor.

My expectation of joining the group!

I hope to have the chance to take part in discussions about creating new ideas and actions for India. I believe that our idea of promoting personal and professional development by supporting young Indian professionals or entrepreneurs can help India booming as a country. I hope to find like-minded people to collaborate with and show the world that India has an enormous potential of development.
