Coca Cola to provide 100 jobs in Wexford
    (BizWorld)

Around one hundred jobs are to be provided at a new Coca Cola manufacturing plant whose construction Taoiseach Brian Cowen launched yesterday.

The E200m manufacturing and innovation facility will be situated on a 41-acre site in the IDA Business and Technology Park at Drinagh in Wexford.
It is expected that the facility will create about 60 jobs after a year and more than 100 jobs after five years of operation.

Coca-Cola Company president and chief executive Muhtar Kent, who was also present for the start of work, said the company had enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Ireland and the IDA.

"Over the next several years, the USD650 billion dollar global non-alcoholic ready-to-drink industry is expected to grow faster than the world's GDP."

"This facility will help to support the current and future growth strategies necessary for The Coca-Cola Company to continue to succeed in a rapidly changing and dynamic marketplace."
