    Enterprise Ireland Consultant - brief introduction
    Hello Everybody,

    I am a member of this group and I would like to briefly introduce myself.

    I am a Partner in FRD Center Market Entry Services - a boutique firm based in Bucharest, Romania. Since 2000, we have been the local consultant of Enterprise Ireland in Romania, providing consulting services to Irish companies interested to enter the Romanian and the region's markets as investors, exporters etc.

    Some of the services we provide are:

    - market research, sector reports, companies detailed profiles
    - market opportunities assessment
    - commercial due diligence
    - business matchmaking, identification and selection of local partners, suppliers, potential clients, distributors
    - organization of business itineraries and trade missions
    - liaison with local authorities and professionals

    Hello Jackie

    A very warm welcome here in this group! Although you are not a very typical group member (e.g. German speaking entrepreneurs etc.), your profile is very interesting and your help could be very useful to some of our members.

    Export to and collaboration with the new EU countries is a big issue at the moment, not only in Ireland. Having somebody in our group who understands both the Irish business culture (as you have worked for Enterprise Ireland in the past) and the culture of the eastern european countries is an unvaluable asset - we are looking forward to your active participation!

    Hi Remi - thank you for your welcome note.

    Indeed, it would be unrealistic to keep the group focused only on German-Irish relations as more international consultants can bring added value to the internationalisation of business worldwide.

    One correction, if I may, regarding your note. We still ARE the Trade Consultant of Enterprise Ireland in Romania. Some 80% of our activity is dedicated to Irish companies, mainly Enterprise Ireland clients. As the EI office for Romania is in Budapest - covering Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria - we cover their activity on the ground in Romania.
