250 jobs on the way in Cork call centre
Abtran, a Cork-based call centre, is to announce the opening of a new innovation centre at its operations in Bishopstown with the creation of 250 new jobs.

The company already employs 600 staff.

Abtran's client list includes the ESB, Hibernian, Sky, Sustainable Energy Ireland, An Post, the HSE and the Financial Regulator.

The company is also hiring customer service representatives having recently won a major contract with eFlow, the barrier-free tolling system on the M50.

Last year it announced the creation of 100 jobs, as part of its expansion plans.
