Empathetic Business at Dublin Event 16th September 2010
Women's Executive Network is hosting an amazing panel that will be discussing empathetic business at a Dublin breakfast event on 16 September!

Research continues to prove that empathy can be directly linked to business success and profit. Empathy means: "putting yourself in the other person's shoes" or "seeing things through someone else's eyes". As an organisation, how can this be infused into your corporate culture? Empathy surrounds us in our everyday, think of the fast food employee and the fake smile. Do your customers truly respond to that? Can you further build on that to provide a sincere, meaningful experience? Can too much empathy actually harm your business success?

Even though empathy can bring more success and more profit, is it right for your organisation? Join us for this breakfast as we discuss the implications empathy truly has on the business bottom line. We’ll look at both sides of the fence, empathetic and hard-line business models to give you the straight facts. With this information in hand you can decide what’s right, and what makes sense for you and for your organisation.

    Panellists:
    Irial O'Farrell, Founder, Evolution Consulting
Rachel Mooney, Head of Organizational Culture and Capability, Vodafone Ireland
