Hello,

Let me begin by thanking you for approving me as a member. I chair a Private Limited Company: iPOTT Softech and 2 proprietary firms: renuV & iPOTT Knowledge Ventures. I have been involved in the world of IT in all levels, from user, to implementer, to critic, to evaluator, to adviser, etc.

I have learned and researched the gap existent in the Software world today. I started my company iPOTT with a vision to make available all software & software related information to Indian market. But in this process I have also realized the potential of Indian market, the skills available in this market. I would like to bring out and tap the under utilized software product market in India.

On the other hand software players have created their own boundaries and are competing well in the existing market space. Unfortunately this strategy is confined to an existing boundary or existing industry. Growth is achieved by keeping track of the competitor and keeping abreast of the newer entrants into the field. We are in a vertical proprietary scenario.

We would like to change the basis of competition. iPOTT intends to bring focus on 'need' and 'availability' and create demand rather than fighting the existing. The plan is to develop an open market space wherein competition becomes irrelevant. We are not in the first phase to bring all information online. The rest will follow…..

iPOTT is a web based information centre for all softwares developed across the world. Our user friendly website enables 'easy & quick' information access, 'free' trial downloads and 'online' software purchase. We have on our site big softwares to small solutions. We have softwares for all purpose & varied utility. We have softwares which are searched by companies e.g.: CRM and individuals e.g.: Mobile tools. We have softwares costing as low as $1 to as high as $1,000,000 listed on our site. We have information about huge application which cannot be procured online e.g.: ERP. We also have softwares which can be purchased online Eg: DVD Cutter.
