…beschäftigt sich mit der Luftbildfotografie aus niedriger Höhe, einem Bereich, der von bemannten Flugzeugen und Hubschraubern nicht erreicht werden kann. Neben etablierten Techniken, wie der Hochstativ-Fotografie, dem Einsatz von Helium-Ballons und Blimps kommen in jüngster Zeit auch Flugdrohnen zum Einsatz (meist Quadrokopter). Damit eröffnen sich neben der reinen Fotografie auch andere Anwendungsgebiete in der Geo-Dokumentation und der Archäologie.
