Top Companies for Leaders 2009
How Leadership drives Engagement and Organisational Performance
Webinar: 18 February 2010
4:00pm GMT / 5:00pm CET
Leadership in difficult times is more important than ever.
The economic challenges of the last 18 to 24 months have had a profound effect on companies around the globe. There is an implicit recognition that bad leadership created the economic crisis and good leadership will get us out of it. Global Top Companies for Leaders are doing that better than others. Even during the economic downturn, global Top Companies remained committed to building leadership capability within their organisations. Tighter budgets and fewer resources forced them to think and act more creatively about what really matters when it comes to leadership - without losing focus.
The Hewitt Top Companies for Leaders Study 2009 has gathered unique insights on Leadership.
With more than 500 participating companies, Hewitt's comprehensive Top Companies for Leaders Study enables us to compare the talent management and leadership practices of companies around the globe. Our analysis shows that the gaps between the Top Companies and the rest are often quite dramatic. 100% of all Top Companies for Leaders develop critical leadership capabilities at senior and top level as compared to only 62% of the other participating organisations.
