    German master’s student is searching for expert appraisals of the Indian automobile industry (master’s dissertation)
    Dear group members,

    my name is Jan Kubik and I am a 24 years old German master’s student in international business administration at Edinburgh Napier University (UK) and Munich University of Applied Sciences (Germany).

    Within my master’s dissertation I am aiming to investigate whether first movers in the Indian automobile industry may enjoy pioneering advantages as a rule and to reveal the resources and capabilities that are most prevalent in supporting the pioneers’ ability of gaining pioneering advantages.

    Thus, I am currently searching for experts who are willing to give me a short personal appraisal regarding the mentioned research topic- either via phone or e-mail questionnaire. It would take approximately ten minutes to answer the questions which cover the following topics: (1) Market position and firm performance (market share, profits) of pioneers and followers, (2) resources/capabilities that support a pioneer’s ability to achieve first mover advantages, (3) first mover advantages per se.

    All data will be treated confidentially and will only serve for academic purposes. Further, your organization and your name will remain anonymous and data will not be passed on to third persons.

    If you are interested in my findings, you may receive them by the 31st of January 2012 after the study’s completion. With your participation you can support a student in compiling a representative study and add to new empirical findings. Further, I will donate 3€ for every completed questionnaire/interview to World Vision’s regional development program in Daryapur (http://www.worldvision.de/unsere-arbeit-wo-wir-arbeiten-indi...).
