  Crest 31 Blog: Legendary soul singer and musician Isaac Hayes died yesterday.

  My name is Christi Pemberton, owner of Crest 31, organizer of world music events and fine art services.
  I have a blog at http://www.crest31.wordpress.com. The breaking news from yesterday is the death of legendary soul singer and musician, Isaac Hayes, died yesterday in his Tennessee home. I have written an article about him and included video of his 1973 live performance of his famous song "Shaft", named after the motion picture "Shaft".
  Also, I have posted the second part of an interview with the famous Bengali band "Krosswindz", who combine the folk music of Bengal with other world influences and rock/jazz. Please see "The World Stage" for the interview.
