IM the Club e.V. is a networking club for all International Management students and exchange students of the FH Deggendorf. Currently, there are around 60 active registered members - encompassing all semesters, foreign exchange students, and alumni. Every IM and exchange student is eligible to be a member - you just have to let us know you are interested!!!
The goal of IMTC is to support all past, present, and future IM students through contacts, information, experiences, and entertainment. IMTC is a club to share- whether it is experiences abroad, helpful study tips, job or internship opportunities, or just general conversation.
We also strive to represent the IM program in the business world and abroad, so as to broaden students and employers views and create valuable contacts for the future. We want the world to recognize the IM students of Deggendorf as smart, reliable, and ambitious individuals with a common bond. By including alumni and exchange students, opportunities for excelling after you get your degree become abundant and easily accessible.
Every IM student has stories to tell and helpful hints to share. Most have studied abroad, interned abroad, or lived abroad - and those who haven’t will soon. We have “been there, done that” and can help with anything from the big details such as how to find an internship, to the little details like where to find a cheap flight, or the customs of a foreign country. You never know what useful information you may gain through talking with the other IM students and alumni.
IMTC arranges events, meetings and parties to initiate the networking cycle and meet new people. All members, as well as alumni and exchange students, are encouraged to attend these events. The club also has a group on Xing.com, where members can extend their network even further than past and present IM-ers, while at the same time helping fellow students extend their networks. You may even meet up with professors here.
Come have fun and connect at the same time. The friends you make today could make a enormous difference in your future.
