    Hello,
    I am a PhD student from the United States working in Germany on foreign & non-foreign workers in high tech/IT/communications fields. I would be interested in networking with Americans who live and work in Germany.

    My research is a year and half long project based in Berlin, Germany. I am looking at the ways that people talk about technology and globalization and the way that it is practiced on a daily basis. I want to learn about people's experiences work in Germany, particularly Berlin. However, at this time, I am just trying to increase my contact network and get to know people.

    I am from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and am affiliated with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin here in Germany. If you have any experiences, advice or would like to be a contact of mine, please drop me a line (in English o. Deutsch).

    Thanks for the introduction and welcome to Indescon on XING.

    There are a lot of members on our group with ties to US, mostly for business, but also for academia. You will find them easiest by searching through "Group Members". You will also find the Americans using appropriate filters on this group-search.
