    Event Summary: India IT Day in Frankfurt, December 2nd 2008
    The 2nd India IT Day that was held in Frankfurt on 2nd December, 2008 was a resounding success. It offered abundant new information on the topics of:

    1. India - a Potential Export Market for German Software/IT Companies
    2. Scalable Software Production in India

    4 diverse presentations from an excellent group of speakers from industry and government covered topics of software sales in India, software production in India, founding a subsidiary in India and Visa and legal processes for Indian knowledge-workers in Germany. Speakers and presentations were:

    * Mr. Horst Kinzinger, CTO, Software AG, Erfolg eines deutschen Software-Unternehmens in Indien
    * Mr. Albert Sedelmaier, Geschäftsführer, DataM GmbH, Aufbau von Vertriebskanälen für Software-Produkte in Indien
    * Mr. Masoud Kamali, Geschäftsführer, Software & Support Verlag GmbH, Erfahrungsbericht: Nutzung von Entwicklungsressourcen aus Indien
    * Mr. Erwin Sorgenfrei, Ordnungsamt Frankfurt, Facts & Figures - Visa- u. Aufenthaltsgesetze für indische "Knowledge Workers"

    All presentations will be available for download from indescon.org.

    A total of 40 participants were registered at the door, representing a diverse group from C-Level executives of software companies to project managers in offshore software companies. The participant list will be individually emailed to those present on 02/12/2008.
