Those of you familiar with PHP Frameworks would know that Frameworks are a God-sent tool to that special group of humanity called PHP-programmers! Frameworks help to write apps at super fast speed, enabling releases that took a year in as little as 3-4 months.
One way of looking at Frameworks is as Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools.
PRADO the original Php RAD framework is now being mutated into Yii, as a new generation platform, with promising new performance improvements, native AJAX support based on jQuery and improved ORM features.
Has anyone already used YII? I'm curious to know what your experience with it has been, relative to Prado. If you have tried it, are you willing to bet on YII for the future?
TIA

On a different note, I'd like also to know which Framework you use and could recommend.
Thank you
