  A good read for all interested in India and a Must for all working with Indians in India
  
  Gunjan Bagla's book “Doing Business in 21st Century INDIA” is a remarkably concise overview of challenges “Westeners” face in India. As a experienced consultant based in California he´s written it basically from the North American point of view. In eight chapters Gunjan Bagla covers basic topics from cross-cultural communication, Human Ressources to marketing and financials as well as legal issues. In his first two chapters he gives extensive background information which newcomers to India will find important to know. Perhaps some of the tips and tricks given need to be adapted to the typical German context, but most of the tits and bits of information given by Western CEOs and many anecdotes make this book a lively reading for all.
