  Introduction

  As I started this group I think I have to put the first post in here:
  
  Name: Karsten Koenigstein
  In process Management: since 20 years
  
  I learned process management not from IT but from management consulting side. In early days we have modeled processes by defining them on "brown paper", what changed later to VISIO. Then we told people they had to work now "according to the changed process model". Some of them did, but some did even never look at it.
  
  This is where I started to implement processes on "BPM" platforms that did not had that name that day. In 2001 we started a company to build a software that should help companies in implementation of innovation processes (egip). We changed company to Process Square what did basically the same in a more actual environment. This we sold to Intalio in November 2008. This application became Intalio Business Edition. The revised Business Edition will be released in the last week of March 2009.
