  Dear Mark:
  I agree with your appreciation of "underselling our profession". Maybe it´s just a matter of trends: nowadays chefs are in the spotlight, yesterday (and always) are fashiondesigners who seem to sell their job with a much more high profile, (wich reflects much higher selling numbers) and I see it´s a worldwide issue, here in Uruguay where I work happens the same . We should have similar creativity to put interior design, architecture, etc in the level they deserve, such as cinema directors as well. All them have in common, a quote of creativity, art, vision, and lots of more qualities that make a job outstanding from the project to the dayly living....but in case of us almost anonymous!
  A chapter apart suposes to work in order to trascend trends and stay in a more permanent, respected, reference and recognized level.
