I'm conducting a study on what material is being requested and provided in general site audits as well as SEO audits. I've provided a significant number of these to clients and am surprised at the random nature of companies' audit offers.

If you have requested an audit of your site's structure / usability / accessibility / standards compliance or an audit concerning your site's placement / ranking / visibility / ROI, I'm curious to know what kind of information you received and how useful you found it.

It seems that companies are offering everything from simple reports containing auto-generated data and statistics on one hand to well-thought through analysis and observations on the other. The pricing of these services also seems to vary widely.

I'd like to find enough data to establish a good standard of report contents vs. price to help push quality providers towards a common level of service. Basic comments and observations are very welcome here and I'd very much like to study as many of these reports as people would feel comfortable sharing with me (drop me an email).

Any thoughts / ideas ?
