More sustainability when it comes to food - that would be a nice thing to become trendy. If you take into consideration the ammount of pollution in threshold countries you would hardly consider the people living there to be aware of the food-waste-problems. But - they are. During my visit in China I learned that the chinese diet is all about respect towards food and the usage of everything they are given from nature. Yes, that would be a good idea for the western world.

The next interpack will take place from 8 to 14 May 2014, at the Düsseldorf trade fair centre. This trade fair shows the entire value creation chains of the packaging industry: From the production and refinement of packaging products and packaging materials - over packaging and distribution - right up to quality assurance and consumer protection.
Represented are exhibitors for processes and machinery for the packaging of Food, Beverages, Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Consumer goods (non-food), Industrial goods, Packaging materials, packaging means and packaging production as well as processes and machinery for confectionery and bakery.
The acitivities in social networks support the existing online presence of the interpack. Memebers can take part in discussions, announce interesting events or present their job offers. The news service that is free of charge delivers interesting topics from the three priorities of the interpack, Sustainability, Convenience und Safety.
