    January Tax Seminar - Navigating China's Transfer Pricing Requirements
    Transfer pricing compliance is presently a critical tax issue in China as companies face a challenging time in modifying their related party transaction practices in the wake of the requirements stipulated in the Implementation Measures for Special Tax Adjustments (Trial) which were issued in January 2009. Twelve months after the commencement of the new rules provides us with a good opportunity to reflect upon the new system.

    Hwuason’s professionals will outline their experiences of the new regime and provide practical guidance on minimizing risk. Topics covered will include:

    1. How to undertake a transfer pricing risk assessment;
    2. Structuring and planning your transfer pricing;
    3. Complying with related party documentation requirements;
    4. Using advance pricing agreements; and
    5. Dispute resolution in a transfer pricing context.

    Some of the recent transfer pricing cases will be discussed and the professionals provide their personal experiences from the last year.
