  citing a current ca. 2G$ budget, ca. 6000 examiner, almost half a million application per year -
  and a backlog of 750,600 application and average 32 months. Historical data shows about a doubling of working volume every ten years and a backlog increase which is more linear than exponential, and at about two weeks per year.
