  Greater China IP Lawyer Glad to Join Your Group

  I'm a partner in Eiger Law, which has locations in Taipei and Shanghai. We were formerly the Taipei office of a Zurich-headquartered firm, where I headed up the Greater China IP practice. I've worked closely with a wide variety of SMEs to multinational companies on their IP matters, ranging from market-entry counseling through litigation and enforcement of litigation. For the past 8 years, I've chaired the ECCT's IPR Committee, working closely with the the European Commission, the US State Dept. and the Taiwan government on intellectual-property policy matters.

  Otherwise, I've got a wonderful wife and boy-girl toddler twins here in Taipei. I play violin (mostly classical) and guitar (mostly blues), and when I have time I read a mix of non-fiction and fiction. I enjoy bicycling, running, swimming, mountain climbing and, when available, participating in the annual dragon-boat races.
