Job description
The new and “state of the art” European R&D centre of Heinz is located Nijmegen. The senior IP/patent lawyer will assist the R&D centre regarding all important legal and Intellectual Property matters including patent issues around Europe. Furthermore you will be the senior legal business partner for the business of Heinz in Germany, Poland and Turkey. You will assist and support the business on all large (international) commercial and corporate contracts and moreover you will create legal awareness with e.g. training and education.
In this position you will directly report to the European General Counsel.
Profile
We are looking for a qualified lawyer with extensive in-house IP and/or patent experience. Qualified patent lawyers with in-house experience will be of particular interest but patent qualifications are not essential.
Furthermore you need to have experience with German commercial contract law. Willingness to travel (around Europe) is necessary.
Fluent in English and German – both written and verbally - is a must and Polish would be desirable but not essential.
