  Intellectual Property Team Leader neede to Poland (Pharmaceuticals)

  Chronos Consulting's Client – Polpharma S.A. is the largest manufacturer of drugs and active
  pharmaceutical ingredients in Poland. It is specialized in the development and commercialization of generic drugs for the Polish market and other markets in the Central and Eastern Europe. In 2010 Polpharma received the title of the „Best Pharmaceutical Production Company in Europe” from a British magazine „The New Economy”.
  
  
  Position: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY TEAM LEADER
  PHARMACY OR BIOTECH
  
  Location:
  Starogard Gdański
  
  
  Requirements:
  - BS in Chemistry, Biotech or similar qualifications
  - Good command of English and good drafting skills
  - Knowledge of the patent system and a high sense of responsibility
  
  
  Desirables:
  - Solid state chemistry and/or biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical technology
  - Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech sector and/or organic chemical synthesis
  - Experience in patent departments of chemical/biotech and preferably pharmaceutical firms
  - Qualification as European Patent Attorney (or having approved some papers of the EQE)
  - Legal background/experience on patent litigation
  - Desirable languages: English
  - Advantage: Polish, German, French, Russian.
  
  
  Responsibilities:
  - Patent assessment for new product selection
  - Drafting freedom – to – operate opinions, risk assessments and patentability studies
  - Provide support for API selection and pharmaceutical form development
  - Patent drafting and prosecution
  - Contact with patent agents, lawyers
  - Support to clients and sales department on patent issues
  - Support to patent litigation (for infringement, invalidation etc)
  - Reporting to Director of IP Department
