Chronos Consulting's client is a global leader offering certification, verification, testing and inspection services. The Systems & Service Certification division has provided services to over 80,000 clients worldwide to improve their processes and systems with Audits and ISO certification.
To support in the continued growth, we are seeking to add a new business developer based in Germany. An individual contributor role to grow and expand the business by targeting multinationals with headquarters located in Germany. You possess a "hunter-mentality" and have exposure and sales experience into large organizations. You have the ability to "hit the ground running" and make an impact in driving sales locally and internationally. This role requires travel within Germany, therefore, you can either work from a home-based office or a branch office .
The Role:
Reporting to the Regional Business Manager based in France & Vice President based in Switzerland, you will be responsible for:
Selling certification services utilizing the strength of international affiliate business infrastructure and resources.
Defining and maintaining a target list of prospect clients and developing a sales strategy for the region to achieve defined sales targets.
Developing and selling global proposals to German clients
Establish relationships, conduct client presentations and cooperating with other regional sales teams, referring local clients, and attending local sales meetings
Tracking the progress of the market and sales goals and ensure marketing and sales objectives are achieved
Coordinating cross-business activities within the organization to sell into Key Accounts.
The Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required preferably in business or related area
5 + years business development and sales experience within a service industry
Proven track record in selling services and demonstrated experience in building new business and/or extending services into new markets
Ability to assess the needs of current and potential clients and demonstrated experience in building strong client relationships.
Self starter personality, strong work ethic coupled with solid negotiation skills and ability to close deals
Excellent communication, writing, presentation and analytical skills.
Refined presentation skills and ability to interact effectively with senior management and peers
Knowledge of ISO certifications and outsourcing audits would be an advantage, but not a requirement
