NEW YORK, 11 - 14 May 2006
Annual Gala Dinner of the American Friends of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, honoring H.E. Ambassador Danny Gillerman, Israel's Representative to the United Nations, and Janice Gillerman as AFTAM "Patrons of the Arts" on Thursday, May 11th. The renowned American artist, James Rosenquist is AFTAM "Artist of the Year", and for this occasion he has prepared a special limited edition print - "Israeli Flag at the Speed of Light". A Benefit Art Auction will be conducted by Maestro Simon de Pury, and the Gala evening will be followed by a "Weekend of Art" including a special program of visits to private collections, artists' studios and exhibitions.
