    First event
It has been a pleasure meeting all of you who came and managed also to do so in such a short notice.

Personally I was very happy to meet many of the people who so far I had only the chance of either have a quick messaging "chat" or see a silhouette... :-)

We would very much appreciate your feedback, impressions of the event. Although it was only the first of event, one of many to come, it seemed that many of you were VERY busy chatting ... ;-)

So … did you enjoy it? Did you find it useful? Have you met with new people? Expanded your network to the real world? Did the event meet your expectations? Would you have changed, added some things?

As the saying goes "your feedback is very important to us".

Feel free to respond to this thread, create new threads or contact me directly.

    Cheers,

    -Eric.

Eric and Jonas (and the other organizers),

First of all compliments for getting so many people together in spite of Tel Aviv's near-tropical humidity, which we were apparently all able to overcome with the good wine that was served.

I did indeed make some interesting and, who knows, useful contacts. However, the set-up was not ideal to talk with or meet more people.

I suggest the following for the next networking event:

    1. Ask participants (when they sign up for the meeting) what they are looking for or have/want to offer, and whom they would like to meet specifically

    2. Send out prior to the meeting a list of participants with their names, their HAVES and WANTS (from their profiles), and the answers to #1 above

    3. If possible (depending on the meeting location and space) allow participants to post their name, wishes, desires, offers, etc. on the walls (posters, notes, etc.), blackboards, whiteboards, flipovers, tables, or whatever is possible and convenient. They can stand next or below it, as on a trade show.

The last meeting I only had a chance to talk to people that happened to stand next to me, or when pouring a glass of wine. Perhaps the above suggestions will make it easier to mingle and move around and to be prepared when attending.

We are in talks with Chance2meet which would give us a a software where you can request short one-on-one meetings wiht other participants after reviewing their wants and needs.
