  Hi, I just became a member of this group. I am a geologist at Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany, working as Scientific Coordinator for the Geosciences. I spent two years as a postdoc in Rehovot (at HaFakulta) 1998 - 99 which I enjoyed very much. I am also very familiar with Sede Boker, i.e. Midreshet Ben-Gurion, since my wife lived there for four years. Here in Germany I am member of the board of the German section of "Scholars for Peace in the Middle East" (SPME, see http://www.spme.net) supporting the fight against academic boycott. If there is anybody out there interested in joint German-Israeli research projects in the field of Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology, Mineral Resouces etc. please contact me.
