Hi everyone, I am the founder of VillageDirect.Org.

As Henry Ford once said, you can't build a reputation on what you are going to do. Now that I have launched the VillageDirect.Org website I feel more comfortable making an introduction.

The internet has had a major impact on our lives over the past fifteen years; permeating both economic and social domains. VillageDirect.Org online and offline strategies are designed to leverage the powers of information and communication technologies, and make use of market based tools to scale-up and deliver more economic development services for more people then are currently being served: http://www.villagedirect.org/services.html

At VillageDirect.Org, civil society organiations will find it easy to bring together stakeholders through advocacy, partnerships, constituency building and fundraising. Communities can more effectively tell their stories and attract the resources and partners needed for development. Professionals will find information needed to successfully move beyond their natural borders into new markets.

This is a work in progress and your involvement as a partner is welcomed.

I expect to make new friends here at Future of IT in Africa, share my knowledge and learn new things. If I am able to find partners, advertisers, sponsors and investors that would be excellent.
