  Hello everybody,
  
  I am new to this group and therefore would like to introduce myself to you.
  
  My name is Simone Johnson. I have been a certified translator for the English language for more than 10 years. I offer linguistic services (English-German; German-English) in the fields of public accounting, tax consulting and finances. Most of my clients are public accountants, lawyers or CFOs and CEOs of large corporations or corporate groups.
  
  I have come to realize that a great translator in the above fields does not only need language skills but also some type of expertise in the field of taxation and accounting. Over the past 10 years I have improved both my language skills and my knowledge in taxation and accounting (International Financial Reporting Standards, German tax laws, bookkeeping, etc.).
  
  In 2008 I completed my TEFL studies. I have offered classes (Financial English, English for Accountants) for 5 years.
  
  I am a member of the BDÜ (the German Association of Interpreters and Translators).
  
  I am looking forward to meeting interesting people, extending my network, keeping my knowledge in international up-to-date.
