  Our client is a leading innovator of product and color technology of various segments in the vehicle refinishes market, as well as the OEM commercial vehicles and Automotive Plastic Coatings markets. In order to support their growth plans and secure the attainment of strategic goals, our client is seeking to appoint a Regional Controller to be based at their office in Izmir (Turkey).
  
  FUNCTIONS
  As the Regional Controller you will be responsible for the design, implementation and secure ness of the adherence to the authorization levels / financial procedures within the assigned sales region. A key responsibility will be to monitor the adherence to the Business Principles and corporate Code of Conduct within all the units functioning in the assigned sales region and to monitor the compliance to all binding internal and external legal regulations as well as initiates the necessary corrective actions. The Regional Controller will evaluate the controlling tools / procedures and initiate their changes to minimize financial risks and will also participate in and, where appropriate, lead projects related to the mergers and acquisitions as well as internal / external co-operations. He/she will analyze the direction of the market and prepare business plans / strategic analyses for the assigned sales region and will work out the economic effects of strategic initiatives to enable decision making. The Regional Controller will assist the regional management in translating the strategic plans of the sales region into the operational action plans for all key functional disciplines to drive operating income growth and set up and maintain the operational forecasting and budgeting processes within all business areas such as sales, supply chain and overheads.
  
  REQUIREMENTS
  Degree in Finance and Accounting or equivalent qualification
  Minimum 7 years of professional experience with 5 years controlling experience in an international company
  Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage
  Excellent technical skills and computer proficiency
  Knowledge of IFRS/SOX is an advantage
  Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to deliver under pressure
  Fluency in both Turkish as English is an absolute must in this role
