Our client is a leading services company operating in the oil and gas industry.
Drilling Supervisor & Operations Manager
Morocco
Full relocation will be provided by the company.
Duration: At least 2 years, full time.
• The Drilling Supervisor will oversee 2 drilling rigs and be responsible for making sure wells are drilled timely and per design, handling logistics for moving materials to and from the rig & in and out of the country (with assistance from the company’s purchasing group).
• Assist with logistics and supervision of completion work as needed.
• Work full time in Morocco and be expected to make as many rig visits as necessary to ensure drilling / completion activities are progressing as expected.
• Responsible for implementation of all the company's policies, procedures and guidelines on drilling operations, safety and environmental protection.
Requirements:
• A university degree in Engineering.
• Experienced in handling exploration, development, completion.
• Experience in Well planning, Drilling Engineering and well completion
• Good interpersonal relations and communication skills as well as good working knowledge of well engineering software packages are also required.
• Able to work in teams while maintaining the capability and flexibility for independent action. Proven people management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English skill.
• Fluent French- an advantage but not a requirement.
