    'Northwest European Law Associations Young Lawyers Seminar'

    En tant que membre de l'Association Belge du Droit Maritime, je participerai à la 'Northwest European Law Associations Young Lawyers Seminar', tenu le 15 au 16 juin prochain à Rotterdam.

    Ce séminaire joindra un nombre de ‘jeunes’ avocats français, anglais, allemands, hollandais et belges, tous pratiquant dans le domaine du droit maritime et du droit des transports.

    S’il y a d'autres membres du groupe des 'juristes du monde' qui participeront à cet événement, je serai ravi de faire leur connaissance.

    As a member of the Belgian Maritime Law Association, I will be attending the 'Northwest European Maritime Law Associations Young Lawyers seminar' on 15 and 16 June next in Rotterdam.

    This seminar will bring together maritime and transport lawyers of France, England, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.

    Dear Members,

    An International Conference on Maritime Delimitation of three Sovereign Nations (Indonesia, Australia and Timor Leste) will take place in Bali International Convention Centre, Nusa Dua P.O. Box 36, Nusa Dua 80363 Bali, Indonesia in 25-27 October 2007.

    The Purpose of the International Conference includes:

    · To reopen and review all Treaties and Agreements made by Government of Indonesia and the Government of Australia concerning Maritime Bondaries in Timor Sea and Ashmore Reef & Cartier Islands
    ·To determine the Indonesian Traditional Fishing Rights in Ashmore Reef & Cartier Islands based on International Law and Human Rights
    ·To determine the Maritime Boundaries among Indonesia, Australia and Timor Leste in Timor Sea.
    ·To establish a cooperation in Timor Sea by concerning parties

    Expected Participants as follows:
    ·International law scholars both at national and international level.
    ·International legal experts from various countries.
    ·NGOs, Govermental Agencies, Civil Society Groups
    ·Traditional Fishermen from Roti Island
