  A new painting is finished. Always a special experience, but this time it is something very special. NYC and Lady Liberty did impress me very much a few years ago during a visit - and now, stumbling across thoughts and memories - an idea of a painting formed. A large canvas has been created especially for this painting and paperboard prepared. The photo does unfortunately not show the special surface of the skyscrapers, which is made by paperboard and gives them a special structure. I have painted the artwork then in total contrast to NYC in total remoteness on the countryside, listening to Bob Marley songs, so when seeing it, I even can here the music, heard when painting it.
