  Lean Manager needed for a company in Baden-Württemberg

  Lean Manager for a company in Baden-Württemberg, Germany
  
  Position Description: The Lean Manager advocates the lean approach throughout the plant and supports continuous process improvement across the organization. This is a highly visible position that will report to the VP of Operations.
  The key activities are:
  • Drive lean to the enterprise level in the plant.
  • Alter/edit lean strategy plan.
  • Implement the lean strategy with hands-on support.
  • Provide leadership support to others.
  • Manage 1-2 direct reports (lean & quality).
  
  Requirements:
  • BA or BS in business, engineering or related field or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
  • Prior experience in a lean leadership role.
  • Experience with the Toyota Production System (TPS).
  • Understands replenishment systems and lean manufacturing (JIT) strategies.
  • Must have demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Must be fluent in German and live in Germany.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  
  Compensation:
  • Annual salary range will be commensurate with experience. Potential for bonus.
