    Strategies for Healthcare - and they should be lean, or not?
    Booz Allen, the internation consulting firm has initiated a health roundtable talking about how
    to overcome the problems with rising diabetis:

    The following is stated as insights:

    "We need big changes, not small ones ....

    To achieve big changes, we need clear and simple data-driven metrics and goals that can
    be widely disseminated and easily understood..."

    Where have you seen that this strategy has worked in the past in easier to handle issues?

    PS.: If the strategy doesn't work out, what I suspect from what I read and what reminds me of John Sterman's talk at NIH (National Institute of Health) in March 2007, see the appropriate forum for link to it), then somebody is earning lots of money, others are suffering, and further help is needed as the problems grow even worse.

    How can that be?
