    Think again!
    Dear all,

Time for Part 2 of our blog series in which I’m presenting some thoughts and quotes of a stimulating business book which title I’m not revealing for the time being. Why? Since I would like you to solely focus on its words and meanings. Not being irritated by names. We strip it down to what it is supposed to be:

A compilation of wisely written pages for everyone who has been having the feeling that sometimes (or even often) we have to break the established rules and ways of thinking in order to make an impact and to be successful in the long-term. Regardless if you run your own business, work in a huge company or if you are just interested in practical mental stimulation.

IN MY LAST ARTICLE I PRSENTED THE FOLLOW IDEAS & ADVICES

That will never work in the real world! Stripped Down Advice: The real world isn’t a place, it’s an excuse. It’s a justification for not trying. It has nothing to do with you.

Misconception: Learning from Failures equals being successful. Stripped Down Advice: Evolution doesn’t linger on past failures, it’s always building upon what worked. So should you!

    WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION?

One reader commented with the following words: “Guess this book is about questioning what we think we have already known as the general wisdom and guidance of success?”

Another one shared this comment with us: “That will never work!!! How often have we been told that and heard that people saying. I was told it often... And unfortunately listened too it too often... Not any more; now I search for input and advice to come up with my opinion and ideas at the end. And yes, I make mistakes. Which is okay for me.”

And we’re having the first guesses: “About the above book, I have no idea, but here's a guess, how about Richard Branson's very own, 'Rich's no BS guide to success in business, life and beyond?'”
“Maybe you may be talking about "Rework" by Jason Fried & David Heinemeier Hansson.”

Maybe yes, maybe no… It’s all about guessing, isn’t it? Find out for yourself…

TIME TO MOVE ON WITH TODAY’S THOUGHTS & TIPS

    Planning is guessing
Writing a plan makes you feel in control of things you can’t actually control. Give up on the guesswork. Save this precious time for doing more value-adding things (my personal advice!). Decide what you’re going to do this week, not this year. Figure out the next important thing and do that.
Working without a plan may seem scary. But blindly following a plan that has no relationship with reality is even scarier.

Find the right Size and stay there
Why is big always good? What is it about growth and business? What’s the attraction of big besides ego? What’s wrong with finding the right size and staying there? Don’t make assumptions about how big you should be ahead of time. Grow slow and see what feels right. Don’t be insecure about aiming to be a small business that’s sustainable and profitable. Whether your business is big or small, you should be proud of it.

    What do you think?

    Best regards,
