Lichtkunst
Die Lichtkunst ist heute neben der Malerei, Plastik oder der Fotografie eine eigenständige Kunstgattung, die in den übergeordneten Kategorien der Skulptur und Installation zu finden ist. Zu den Hauptwerken der Lichtkunst zählen der von Lázló Moholy-Nagy geschaffene Licht-Raum-Modulator (1920-30) und die Diagonale vom 25. Mai (1963), eine Lichtleiste mit einer gelben Leuchtstoffröhre des Amerikaners Dan Flavin.
