    AM2 - Mainboards
    Hallo,

    wer kann mir ein aktuelles AM2-Mainboard (für Athlon Dual Core) für den Einsatz unter Linux empfehlen? (Die Hersteller bemühen sich leider nur ihre Vista-Freundlichkeit auszuweisen)

    Ich habe mir den Shuttle Barebone SN27P2 mit AM2 Board gekauft und darauf läuft läuft die aktuelle Ubuntu 6.10 einwandfrei - incl. aller onboard features (sound, Netzwerk, SATA, USB-Maus/-Tastatur, etc.). Auch mein Athlon X2 3800+ EE läuft einwandfrei incl. Cool&Quiet - ohne zusätzliche Konfiguration. Alles out of the box. Ubuntu hat eine sehr gute Hardwareunterstützung.
