    Linux / Oracle Administrator wanted in Berlin
    I'm looking for an experienced Linux/Oracle DBA administrator for an exciting opportunity in Berlin. The successful candidate will be working for one of Europe's fastest growing telecoms companies and will have opportunities for career progression across Europe.

    Main Duties:

    Installation of Oracle DB software (incl. Oracle RAC)
    Monitoring of Oracle DB
    Performance analysis of Oracle DB
    Troubleshooting issues related to DB
    Administration of Servers
    Administration of other DBs (MySQL, MS-SQL)
    Manage 3rd party support if required
    3rd Level Support for Datacentre projects
    OnCall support
    Support for Sales/Presales – discuss and design projects

    Experience required:

    Excellent knowledge of performance analysis of DBs
    Excellent knowledge of methods for monitoring oracle DBs
    Experience in administration of MYSQL and MS-SQL
    Knowledge of standard Internet protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP
    Knowledge of standard office applications
    Knowledge of monitoring applications and methods
    Useful: experience in Progress DB

    Fluent German and English is required and candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
